our story

Director Trish Botha is a proud Australian and a descendant of the South Sea-Island Kanaka & Aboriginal Communities. 
Inspired by her Great Uncle Eddie Mabo’s work in Indigenous Recognition, Trish has forged a career in creating real economic development and investment opportunities for ATSI entrepreneurs and women-led start-up companies. This is Trischa’s story and the the story of the Arise Team of Problem Solvers, who share her passion to end poverty and create generational wealth, for every Australian.

MEET TRISH

With more than 20 years experience working in the community services sector, Trish brings a depth of knowledge of culture and government practices across the Asia Pacific region, with solid networks and in-depth knowledge of the challenges of development in Asia/South Pacific/African regions. She has been a part of successful aid projects performed in PNG, Vanuatu, Philippines, Thailand, Mauritius and South Africa. Trish was the co-founder and CEO of a not for profit, giving her management and strategic leadership expertise. This role included programme development work with indigenous communities seeking to increase economic development through sectors such as education, employment and economic sector. More recently, Trish has been involved in both Federal and State Government elections and processes. Trish is currently an MBA candidate and she has published work in PHD research.
